My Life
I was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 18th December 1985. I was the most pampered child since I’m the only princess among the four of us. I have three elder brothers who really care and love me a lot. My childhood journey was great with a loving family and friends. I'm much closed to my second brother. He is like my God Father. He is a very supporting person and the most adorable brother.I started my Primary studies in SRJK(T) St.Joseph Sentul. I had wonderful friends and teachers who really took good care on my studies. I'm proud to be their student because I produced excellent result in UPSR with great guidance from them.
Unfortunately after my exam I was found to have Glaucoma on both my eyes. At that age i was not aware what Glaucoma is and how cruel is the sickness. I had both my eyes operated when I was 12. I was going through regular check up's at the General Hospital Kuala Lumpur. My family were really worried because Glaucoma occurs to someone when they turn 40 and above but I got it at very young age. After the operation I started wearing spectacles for long distance vision.
I studied my secondary education in SMK Convent Sentul. I did not do well in my PMR. Maybe I was not well prepared for the examination. I choose to be the science stream not because I was interested in it but I don’t want to be different with my brothers. At first I felt like putting in some effort to study hard but at last it did not work. I can't really understand what’s was going on in the science classes. But one thing, I really had very good time with my friends. I found my best friend Kanchanah in there. She is a pretty girl, tall, slim and very intelligent too. I used to show my anger on her but she never takes it serious. She will always smile and advice me. We are still best friends until today. Hmmmm finally the SPM results came out. I know that i did not do well and it happened. My parents didn't say anything but i know they were very upset .All my brothers scored very good results but i couldn't make it.
Somehow after so many arguments i decided to continue my studies in the field of Graphic Design. I was very involved in arts since young and that made me to choose Graphic Design as my career. Growing up, I enjoyed hobbies such as painting, classical dance and singing. I’ve always been interested in graphics. I like to see colorful objects around me all the time to keep my mind fresh all day long….I enrolled me in Limkokwing University of Creative Technology in 2003. Obviously the fees were very expensive compared to other colleges but Limkokwing was well recognized. I enjoy learning something new every day and use graphic design to apply my creativity and love creating something extra ordinary. I started with foundation year and i really enjoyed studying there. I was one of the best students among my friends. I had two good friends in college. Shobana and Renu was my closest friends and coincidentally we stayed at the same location. We travel by LRT everyday because our college was located in Taman Mayang ,Kelana Jaya. We had so much fun together.
My Classmates in Limkokwing
While studying in College i get to know a guy and we fall in love. We were friends for some time and we had the feeling that we liked each other. We were very happy for the first few months but we started having small arguments and it became bigger. I understand that both of us were very young at that time and we were also not matured enough to tolerate each other’s character. When we grow older we could figure out what was the problem and we try to solve it. So now the relationship is much smoother. He introduced me to his good friends and i started becoming close to them too. Monica is his best friend's wife. As me and Monica had the same characteristics we became best friends. I share everything with her. We always have gatherings and we go for holidays very often. I earned my BA in Graphic Design on Feb 2007 and started working as Graphic Designer in Lelong,.om.my. It was a small company but I learned a lot of things since it was my first job. After 9 months working there I found a better offer from INTEL, PENANG. I stayed with Monica and her husband for about 9 months. We had great time in Penang. I like being alone without any commitments. I felt so much better and less tension. After my contract ends with Intel, i came back to Kuala Lumpur and started staying with my family. Currently I'm working as a Web Designer in Damansara for about 7 months.
